Thanks, Scott.

The stocking is actually a commercial Christmas stocking my husband picked up a few years ago at TJ Maxx.

We'll do a more comprehensive job next year; I'll plan ahead (and with luck the cats will be slightly less acrobatic so the tree can live downstairs).

Our tree is still up. We are so lazy.

Ours is as well. But it's not so much laziness as just having time to do it. I was planning to take things down today but then I got called in to work, so it may be up for another whole week yet. Embarassed

I'm in that club, too.

Meant to do it this weekend, but there were other things to do...

HAH! Christmas takedown is always a little depressing, so it takes a while. Of course, Christmas decorations still up after New Year's also seems depressing. And when it's warm, as it is here in E. Tejas, it also seems sad and a little trashy.

I kid myself that if it wasn't for the 17 month old, it would all be done already. Feh.

Oh, I don't know- I think it's perfectly acceptable to leave them up at least through Orthodox Christmas, Jan 6. Not that we celebrate that, mind you, but it does mark the end of the 12 days of Christmas. But having kids sure does complicate the schedule!
