| I posted some shots of the tree in another thread, but here are a more images of interior and exterior decorations... the photos don't do them justice. I am really not very good with the digital camera (I 've dug out the old 35mm SLR cameras, but need to find some film), and I was shooting in low light, mostly. Also - some of the blinking lights appear as "out" - so please make allowances. I'd love to see some of y'all's as well... Anyway - here ya go! | Stunning, Mary D! Nice decorations, as well... Thanks for sharing those beautiful photos - Talk about atomic!I am jealous of your vintage rotator... ours last working vintage one died the other day. Yes, I love the pom tree, but I have one similar to yours (got that one free), but it's not in as good as shape as the pom, or yours for that matter. Seeing your place once again reminds me to (1) Actually straighten up when I decide to take and post pics, and (2) learn to take decent photoraphs/get a better digital camera. How DO you do it? Do tell, do tell.... (0h, and nice Heywood-Wakefield, by the by. Looks in great shape!) | |

| Thanks D S.... I have a very old and crappy olympus stylus 500 5 megapixel camera. There is only so much I can do with it so I always try to have...1) a clean room/staged 2) an interesting picture composition 3) the right function on the camera for what I'm trying to shoot. I am currently saving my pennies for a cannon D50! | |

| What fantastic decorations everyone has! I especially like the aluminum trees.
I shall have to get some photos done of our tree.

| Since we're having some wintry weather here, I thought it might be nice to take some outside photos. We haven't had a White Christmas in recent memory, but this is pretty close. The front of the house: The barn out back is outlined in C9 strands I picked up for $1 (for a whole box): The tree: These are some recent acquisitions. I've started collecting vintage aluminum decorations: | |

| Susie - thanks fot the snowy/icy exteriors... we here in East Texas get our best winter Jan- Feb, if at all....
Thank you for the kind complements on our christmas items... we have a grotesque amount of good stuff we didn't put up - way too much - because we are inveterate collectors.
My wife will be glad to hear about your son liking the toilet cover: She made it! I LOVE the vintage aluminum things you have!

| Susie, it all looks so good. I really love the barn. Next year I've got to do something good. This year I'm glad the tree is finally not nekkid! (And there are greens on the mantel and a wreath on the door.) A whole year to plot and plan for a 1930s Christmas. | |

| Glad you like 'em. Here are a few more: Our front window: I have a feeling that these vintage aluminum decorations are about to get real trendy (like the aluminum trees did a few years ago) so if you see any, grab them. They only cost $1 or $2 a piece right now. | |

| I'm sorry to say I let my husband take pictures...the top of the tree is cut off and...well, I don't think I'll post them! (Maybe I'll take some of my own.) We didn't do much this year, anyway. Next year I'll be more organized. | |

| LD: Aw, C'mon... Show us what you got (or had, at this point) SQT: You may be right about the decorations getting trendy - I've got a few, but not as many or as good as you've got. I'll have to keep my eyes open. | |

| Until this year we used actual nylons as our stockings! We have now changed to pillow cases as the stocking presents are getting a bit bulky and lumpy nylons are not a pretty sight in the morning. | |
