The hottest day of the year so far. So hot that we had to cut short painting my brother's house. What awaits me this unexpected afternoon off? The Thin Man and After The Thin Man on TCM. Sweet tea in the fridge. Life is good.

That happened to me the other day as well, but it was after a long day weeding the garden and The Philadelphia Story was on. What a lovely way to end the day!

If it wasn't for TCM and baseball I wouldn't watch TV at all in the summer.

Happy accidents. Have to love them. I sat on the couch and drank a gallon (no exageration) of sweet tea while I watched the movie.
