| I really like The Women and am horrified to note that there is a new version in production now I suppose it is one way of Hollywood portraying strong female characters but you'd think they could come up with something new... _________________ Sophistikitten, MySpace |

| Oh, Miss R, I couldn't agree more!
I really don't have a huge problem with remaking some movies, but there are some that just don't need it.
Although, did you see the remake of The Women from the 50s? Called The Opposite of Sex, with June Allyson and a young and beautiful Joan Collins as Crystal Allen. _________________ !!Read all about it in the Charm City Daily!! |

I just don't think the story can be brought into a modern context... and if they are trying to redo it in the time it was originally set... there are simply no actresses like there were than. As far as I am concerned. _________________ Ongoing Vintage Halloween at my HalloweenForum blog http://miss_spitfire.livejournal.com |

| I love The Women! I caught most of Holiday Inn yesterday. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit its the first time I've seen it. _________________ Bloomin' Lovely |

| We caught part of a Dick Powell film last night, one I haven't seen. They're profiling big bands and their music on Wednesdays in July! _________________ "To say that New York came up to its advance billing would be the baldest of understatements.
