Do you blog?

I've dived back in again (click on my www link to go there).

I'd love some feedback about it.

Format is meh, I'm not techincally inclined. If anyone could give me advice on that as well, I'd be grateful.

I like yours, too. (I am also a secret Martha Stewart fan. In fact, last year I bought her Halloween magazine. Still have it; it's worth keeping!)

As for my Thai Shan...oh, he was such a lovely boy. I'll always miss him.

Thanks! I have The Social Club and your own blog listed. Even If no one's reading, I'm still enjoying the process of writing. I try and put some effort into each post and hopefully someone will like it.

I will definitely check it out. I have been meaning to start a blog of my own, but I just have such limited time that I am afraid I won't update it regularly. And unfortunately, that is the whole purpose of it, I guess.

Of course mine was supposed to be about knitting, but lately it's about The House and food.

I've tried "networking" (is that the right word?) by commenting on the posts of other classic movie bloggers and I'm pleased that a few of them have read and commented on the couple of things I've written. It's a start, anyway.

I enjoy Eileen's blog with its homespun charm and warm hearthiness, and since I live near Miami, I'll never wear anything knitted. Yet it's fun to get a sense of what's going on "up there."

Mimi, I read some of your entries and I admire your candor. I could never write about myself or personal things outside of my opinions of movies and other interests, but I admire your dedication to family.

Could've been worse- my other options were a Ford Escort or a Pontiac Sunfire. I really wanted a '38 Buick Special, but they were out of those.

Try feedburner. It's free and you can log in and see page counts and views, etc.

I think on my blogs, I get a LOT of spam visits though. My blog is in my signature below and I do have an old blog on blogger....

Yep, very interesting blog, however, I think sometimes she needs to look beyond the poodle skirts, etc. change was in the air by the mid-fifties....the revolution of the sixties was in it's infancy......maybe she should say 47-54...? Or maybe I'm being too critical? Whatever, it is a pretty devoted thing to do!

What ruins it for me is that she's supposed to be living this 1950s life yet she insists on taking pictures of herself in the mirror with a digital camera which is surely the most 2000s you can be!

Buy a proper camera, with a self-timer.
Buy some 50s magazines and learn some poses.

That's it! I think she is trying to live the "supposed" version.....

Hey Tony, ever fancied doing a piece on the attempted fascist coup to overthrow FDR?
There's a load of stuff about the plotters (The American Liberty League) and the whistle-blower (Smedley Butler) online and I'd really like to find a book on the subject.

It's interesting to see the list of backers and then to discover that no action was taken against any of them.
