Dad's Army Empty

I've listened to this on the BBC and on Tuesday night we watched 3 or 4 episodes on YouTube.

It's good stuff. Does anyone know how long it ran in all media?

I've no idea but it seemed to be on throughout my childhood.
People seem to enjoy calling me Private Walker.

I haven't looked up anything yet, but some of the shows we watched were in black & white, and judging from the way it was filmed, I'd guess sometime in the 60s.

I don't have names yet...who was he? Smile

He was the spiv with the pencil moustache and the cocked cap.

Judging by the dates on the plethora of Dad's Army DVDs on Amazon it looks like the TV show ran from around 1968 to 1977. There was also a film in 1971.

Just this minute looked on Google and found the Dad's Army Appreciation Society that will tell you everything you need to know.
