Hi all,

I've been enjoying some vintage OTR and every day I think I enjoy the George Burns and Gracie Allen show more and more. flat out funny as being married and all, so many of the conversations and topics seem to hit home. If you are interrested, here's a link to some downloads at archive.org

Oh I LOVE Burns and Allen! I listen to them every time I go to Live 365. They have great OTR there. I even have a "Vote For Gracie" picture I pull out as my signature during elections. "Down with common sense! Vote for Gracie!"

One of my Favorites, and my daughter's too!

She adores Gracie, and got a DVD of a few of the old TV shows...she's a real fan!

Audible.com is beginning to aquire quite a large collection of classic radio programmes of all sorts....I wouldn't be suprised if they have a G&G package.

At the moment, I'm enjoying a collection of radio plays of Hichcock films (from his 1940s period -- Rebecca, The 39 Steps, Shadow of a Doubt, etc) which I found there. Most have at least one star from the actual film in them, which is fun.

Netflix has them too! But beware, they'll make you want to go out and buy Carnation milk, especially after you see George munching that Strawberry shortcake on-camera.

believe it or not, she found them at the Dollar Store! Ours usually has a great selection of those shows. I got several DVDs of "Mr and Mrs North" which I adore!

all for a dollar!
