I dont suppose there's any fans here of Dragnet and Adam 12? The odd episode of the original Dragnet tv series shows up here, but I'd love to be able to catch all of both series.

I listen to the Dragnet radio shows every morning! it happens to come on at 7 a.m., when I drive my son to school. He loves it!

I can remember watching the old TV shows of both of those with my Dad when I was little. He loved the cop and the Private Detective shows.

We have Sirius satellite radio for the cars, but I have a house antenna set-up, so I bring the unit inside, connect it and play it thru my 40s Crosley! It's great!!
I listen to the OTR channel all day!

NOTE: For my cousins overseas...I've heard of a site called openhulu, but have yet to visit. Just a thought in case you can't get hulu.

It's funny, watch these shows and you can see immediately where CSI gets their stuff...at least to me!

I'm a fan of Dragnet, both the t.v. series and (especially) the radio series. The radio episodes, I feel are a little more naturalistic, and often tougher and more adult. One episode - I forget the title - dealt with a child molestation and murder. It aired with content warning for sensitive listeners.

Also - if you haven' seen the original film "Dragnet" (1954 - during the intiial run of the series), do so. It's closer in tone to the radio series, and it's funny to see Jack Webb so young (versus the more-familiar '60's era series).

what kills me is that if you watch some of the CSI or stuff like that, they all still remind me of Dragnet, but now Dragnet is considered campy, corny....people, I think should go back to the radio series...which I think is better...my humble opinion...
