| Who else is on Ravelry.com or Knitty.com?
You can find me on Ravelry as LHVintageKnits.
I know LindyDiva is on Knitty...who else?
are there any other good sites we're missing?

| I'm on Ravelry (imaginatively, as BygoneKnits)...I need to crack down and get organized though...I started off well, then suddenly lost steam. I think it was the pressure of knitting a ton of things for Christmas that did me in. (will I ever get to make anything for myself again?) | |

| I hear you... Right now, I'm finishing up a soaker for the next baby due, then I'm on to things for myself! | |

| That's another thing -- why is everyone I know having a baby at the exact same time? (and then that means you also have to make something for siblings, to be fair.) PS: I'm still working on a Christmas sweater! I had to send a photograph instead. and I'm positively stuck, for some reason, even though it's not terribly complex (a 1950 Vogue cableknit sleeveless jumper)...I thought I'd make it in time to be a Valentine's Day Jumper (I really am nearly done), but at this rate, it's going to be A Memorial Day Jumper! PPS: You're the other other person I've ever met who knows about soakers! | |

| I love soakers! I have a 1940s pattern booklet, "Knitting Woolies for Babies." It is gorgeous!
And, yes, the two cousins both pregnant at once! One baby delivered last week, and she got a tiny cabled beanie, and the next one due 1/22, she got the soaker.
But now, the other wants soakers (yes, plural!), and I'm obligated for tiny sweaters to match...not sure I'm ready for tiny sweaters!

| Oh, yes, soakers. They make good sense! I haven't made any. Yet. My nephews are all too old for such things, and I am reliably informed that neither my sister nor my sister-in-law intend to produce anyone to try them out. Knitty, yet. I am afraid to go to Ravelry! | |
