| This month it's James Cagney, whom I adore. We've missed the first two Wednesdays, but last night we caught Footlight Parade of 1933 and Something to Sing About. Not the first viewing for either film, but they're fun movies, and I always catch something new! | |

| Footlight Parade was on again this morning!
He has a few that I love, but not all of them. Though I do like him quite a bit...
The one with Doris Day, where she plays Ruth Etting? That's a great one...oh, it's called Love Me or Leave Me. | |

| More Cagney this Wednesday. This time it's military stuff, but I haven't seen any of them, so I'll probably be glued to the set. For anyone who's at home during the day there are some great (non Cagney) films on earlier, including To Be Or Not To Be. | |

| There is one Military Film where Cagney is very against type as a coward. I forget the name of it, but it's probably airing tonight. I enjoyed what I saw of it once Igot used to seeing Cagney that way. It stars Pat O'Brien also. | |

| The Irish In Us was on this morning...they're showing more as the day goes on. I think it's not just Wednesdays, maybe it's every day. | |

| They show them starting at around 8:00 p.m., and continue to about 8:00 a.m. the next morning, usually. | |

| Best line in Footlight Parade: "As long as they've got sidewalks, *you've* got a job!" I also used to copy Cagney's behind-the-back wave as he walks away in one scene. | |
