| OK, now we have a dedicated thread for you to post images of your favourite packaging; those colourful items that the admen and designers have hypnotised you into buying, those comely comestibles positively shining with old-fashioned goodness. Most pomades still have quite timeless tins or labels, most notably Royal Cown, Blue Magic Pressing Oil, Murrays (Hair-Glo and Exelento) and Black and White. Brylcreem has ditched its iconic roots and is trying to appeal to the stupid-haired crowd. |

| SO - to be clear - this is for modern items with faboo vintage/retro design, right? Good. I'm on it. My digital camera is strictly from hunger, but I'm on it. |

Yes, you're right. I just wrote a blog article about that the other day. It was inspired by some of the things from this thread.Visit my blog at: www.practiceintime.blogspot.com
I recently read an article about a woman who blogs about her life trying to live without plastic. Mainly, she tries to deal with plastic packaging and disposable products. Read her blog at www.fakeplasticfish.com |

| Come on, you lazy buggers; I know you've spotted nice packaging, so post it. I was about to direct you to Trumpers but then realised their packaging is hideously 1980s with the exception of Eucris: Penhaligons is where the properly packaged fragrances are: Hammam Bouquet might just be the nicest smell ever. |

| Those are beautiful bottle! The Clubman products still have nice-looking bottles, too, they're just plastic now, which is pretty cheap. But they LOOK good! |

| Here are some Nipits ( not Nippits which are something else entirely). Very strong liquorice pellets. Once I've finished my tin I may keep it as an emergency pomade dispenser.

| I'm in love with the Boot's Original Formula packaging: It's a glass bottle!!! Did a waffly blog about it too.... http://helen-highwater.blogspot.com/2009/07/boots-original-beauty-formula.htmlThe "Soap & Glory" packaging is quite fun, although I'm not sure yet how effective the items within are. It's like that with Benefit - lovely packaging, but you're better off with Besame or MAC or Illamasqua product-wise. |

| The Soap & Glory stuff is good, but it smells AWFUL, to me. I hate that scent. The scrub is nice, the cream feels wonderful...I just can't abide the smell! But the little pots and bottles look nice in my bathroom! |

| I've been admiring the Boots products, but is the stuff inside any good? My recession bitten budget doesn't allow for pretty but useless at the mo. _________________ Why yes, I AM that kind of girl!

| It's quite good stuff, actually. I usually use their very basic 99p cleanser and toner, but I find the Original Formula stuff is gentler to my skin. |
