| Miss R., I know what you mean about the dirty pans! But I'll bet the roasted veggies alone were worth it. Tonight ham + I-don't-know. Rice in some fashion, I think, and peas and carrots. _________________ "To say that New York came up to its advance billing would be the baldest of understatements. | Ribeyes (marinading now) on the grill, baked potatoes (loaded), and broccoli. Might put a demi baguette on the grill, too. Haven't decided. Can't wait! |

| Sunday (my birthday) we had mushroom soup and stuffed shells in red sauce, with spinach salad and red wine. And, of course, birthday cake. Tonight it was cold ham and potato salad. _________________ "To say that New York came up to its advance billing would be the baldest of understatements. | Last night we had pan-fried ham, elbow macaroni w/peas, and a skillet saute of carrots, mushrooms & zucchini, with a dusting of Parmesan and black pepper. Tonight it's pot luck. I'm cleaning out the fridge. Tomorrow maybe roast chicken. _________________ "To say that New York came up to its advance billing would be the baldest of understatements. This, minus the broccoli, add a tomato salad.
We're getting to 90 degrees today (with no AC!!), so everything that can be done on the grill outside will be!! |

| Potatos and onions diced, then tossed in olive oil with garlic and sea salt. Cooked on the grill (wrapped in foil). The main course was porkchops rubbed in sea salt, pepper, garlic and a dash of tobasco grilled over charcoal and hickory. |

| Tonight I made roast chicken, stuffed with onion, garlic & lemon, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, and peas & carrots. Tomorrow or the next day we're going to have chicken "cottage pie". _________________ "To say that New York came up to its advance billing would be the baldest of understatements. | Breakfast for dinner is always good. Especially when it's scrambled eggs on toast. |

| A concoction of aubergine, tomatos, red onion, lemon juice, garlic, chilli powder, black pepper, olive oil and halloumi cheese. It's my favourite thing ever! |

| I could go for that, minus the aubergine. Halloumi and chillis are a match made in heaven, especially with avocado. |

| I absolutely adore halloumi. I do get rather excited about it! I haven't tried it with avocado, though - I should give it a go. Yeah, the original recipe for that includes courgettes but I stopped using them because my boyfriend doesn't like them. |
